This edition showcases some of these struggles, and invites us to consider creative ways to live in safe, connected ways.

How does our activism  fit into the diverse web of change making? From disability advocacy to mutual aid, from Blockade Australia to practising gratitude and earth listening, from playfulness to critical self-re ection, this edition shines a light on the myriad of ways people in the broader FoE network are being activists. And how we might step beyond our own practice and theory, and try out different, diverse, forms of being activist?

Climate change is here and it is wreaking havoc on communities. The bush res, the pandemic, the floods - the world as we know it is changing and each disaster further exposes the structural inequalities of the system that puts profit over people and planet. This edition focuses on the growing climate disasters on this continent; we share some voices from the  ood frontlines, explore the intersecting issues causing disasters and celebrate the incredible community efforts that do some of the best work at long-term recovery and resilience.
