Regional Integration Boosts the Development of the Asia-Pacific Economy
Regional economic integration has become a hot topic in academia and industry today, and it has attracted widespread attention from leaders of various countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Why is this? The reason is quite simple. It is able to connect the industrial chain and supply chain in the region and turn these into a value chain, so as to effectively revitalize the country’s stock resources. This allows a country to tap into regional incremental resources, optimize resources, and resolve national employment issues promptly, expand and cultivate government tax resources and achieve the objective of overcoming national difficulties in good time.
There were two important events which took place in November of this year, these were the APEC meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the ASEAN Summit in Hanoi, Vietnam, where the RCEP Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement were signed.
These two major events fully demonstrated the necessity and importance of multilateral resource integration for regional economic integration. This integration will facilitate the breaking through of the economic bottleneck in the post-pandemic era, whilst giving play to the overall advantages of regional integration of resources, and aiding in the sustainable development of the Asia-Pacific economy.
In order to meet the development needs and the popular request of the readers, our magazine has opened a new section called the "Regional Economic Special Issue". There shall be special reports, comments, and Q&A included in this special section.
In addition, there will be original articles written by financial journalists, special commentators, PhDs and professors from 6 different countries including Malaysia, Australia, Thailand and South Korea, with clear-cut vision, novel opinions and insights.
