Dear Reader,

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our February issue, the second of our monthly series. This month’s front cover is by Rick Jones from his Dawn of the Dead, tribute shoot. A little scary but brilliant, we think you will agree. PHOTOSHOOT is fulfilling its vision to bring together creative individuals and contributors to produce a publication that interacts with readers, shares knowledge, showcases ability and is modern, real life and fun.

In this issue We feature a mixture of images sent into our Gallery Pages, which, as usual, offers a wide range of different styles and creativity. We look at Rachel Cottam’s, 70s themed shoot, Simon Young’s, Like a Doll, Dominika Wenz’s, Reflections and Jamie Booth.

Fashion and Beauty The Perfect Red Lip by Mandy Elizabeth and What does your favourite nail colour say about you? By Amanda Hawtree Taft.

Up and coming events are The Photography Show, 19th to 22nd March 2016 and The Media Makeup & Theatre Event, 12th March 2016.

We feature in our Your Shoot section, photographers; Russ Tierney’s Junkenstein, Gavin Taylor, Rick Jones’s Zombies, Vampires and Demons, Ian Jones, Richard Wakefield’s We walk through what remains and Steve Candi. We also feature makeup artist, Holly Lang’s Material Girl, model’s Wednesday and Emma Jones and Emma’s photographer, Chris Knight. PHOTOSHOOT is always looking for new projects and profiles for our regular features: Your Shoot, Gallery Pages and Focus On. If you have a project or image that is exciting and unique, something you feel we haven’t covered before, then we would like to hear from you.

...and finally We’ve packed the magazine with everything we love about design, photography, style, fashion and beauty. But we want the next issue to be even better, so please get in touch with your feedback, images and ideas. We hope you enjoy issue 9.
