HE WAS THE FIRST WHO SUBMITTED A HYPERLINK BASED CHARGE SHEET IN CBI COURT WHILE HE WAS IN CBI IN THE 1993 BLASTS CASE, WHICH SAVED A LOT OF TIME OF COURT. HE HAS SERVED AS A DCP IN PUNE AND WITH THE PUNE UNIT OF THE ACB. MR. MATHUR HAS ALSO SERVED AS JOINT COMMISSIONER OF POLICE (TRAFFIC) IN MUMBAI AND AS ADG (ESTABLISHMENTS), MAHARASHTRA, AFTER WHICH HE WAS APPOINTED COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, PUNE. HE SUBSEQUENTLY BECAME THE FIRST OFFICER TO BE APPOINTED AS DG (LEGAL AND TECHNICAL) WHEN THE POST WAS CREATED BY THE STATE GOVERNMENT IN 2014, AND LATER BECAME THE STATE ACB CHIEF.
