Ever since that auspicious day of 26.11.1949, when people of India had enacted, adopted and given to themselves the Constitution of India, which has been designated and celebrated as the National Law Day. Each year on November the 26th entire nation and more so the legal community celebrates the National Law Day to remind ourselves the importance of this day which has, in effect, constituted the nation that today we are: a Sovereign, Secular, Socialist and Democratic Republic. So on the occasion of the 64th National Law day Indian National Bar Association, an apex body of national and international lawyers which also seeks inter alia to provide a forum for the lawyers to sit back and reflect upon the myriad challenges faced by the nation and give much needed organized voice to the legal community to contemplate on all the policy and law related challenges faced by the nation. So that the quality of life for the common man on the streets is better, organized a two day International Conference held at India International Centre, New Delhi to commemorate the spirit of the Constitution and seek ways to infuse that spirit into the national polity.
