This is Billboard Philippines’ first Women In Music issue. We amplify the voices of Filipinas — past, present and future. Across the archipelago and beyond our shores, we magnify the awe-inspiring artistry and exceptional resilience of women across the music industry.

Billboard Philippines will give a platform to the country’s vast pool of musical talent. Today, more and more Filipino artists are being recognized on the global stage. Additionally, the Filipino edition will cover an eclectic array of musical genres including the soulful beats and rhythmic lyrics of urban OPM, acoustic-based arrangements of Pinoy folk-pop, catchy novelty songs, powerful hooks of Filipino rock, and many more with musicians from all over the archipelago being heard, valued, and celebrated.
