As a tribute to Architects who are the core strength of our nation, Canadian Wood and Architect and Interiors India decided to bring the spotlight on the future of design and architecture and reinforce the need to look at sustainable architecture as mainstream. They organised a webinar on WoodInnovations – celebrating design and architecture with a stellar line-up of panellists on October 4th, World Architecture Day 2021 and the discussion was very insightful.
With an aim to encourage more and more young architects and designers to take up the responsibility of building with natural materials like wood and discuss the innovations that can be brought about using the material, the webinar saw panellists from across the country sharing their thoughts and works in wood reinforcing the idea of using wood for building sustainable buildings. The webinar also reinforces the need to look at procuring materials through sustainable and ethical sources.
