Saluting The Winners Of The Boon Edam Design Competition Held During The Igen Design Forum

Unboxing To Transforming

The iGen Design Forum 2017 was a stage for ten shortlisted entries showcasing innovative designs to a jury drawn from the greatest in the industry. The ‘Unboxing to Transforming’ competition sponsored by Boon Edam focused on the laying out of a proper plan with importance to access and security systems within a 30x30m plot. The footprint had to be designed as an entrance lobby for an institutional, commercial or financial sector project incorporating function, aesthetics and security as a part of the plan.

The participants were given five minutes to elaborate on the concept and design of their creation through their presentations. They were subject to sometimes gruelling questioning by the panel of judges, but were often complimented on their creativity. Following the engrossing grilling session and close inspection of the innovative shortlisted entries, the winner and runners-up were selected.
