Today electric mobility has become the forefront of vehicular tech with the most cutting-edge developments being made in the field of electric cars, and spearheading the EV race is the Kia with the EV6. This is an EV like no other, which blends in a unique and very attractive body through the ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy with a very advanced electric platform which has been developed specifically for electric cars. In terms of appearance, the Kia EV6 with its sleek, abstract and sporty crossover design has no equal on the roads. It has been shaped with aerodynamics and sporty driving characteristics in mind, while keeping Kia’s design philosophy in mind. The sporty driving character is courtesy of the AWD dual-motor setup which gives the EV6 access to 325bhp and 605Nm of torque. This translates to a sportscar level performance, with the EV6 capable of launching from nought to 100kmph in merely 5.2 seconds, and with its instant torque from the electric motors, instant acceleration out of corners making the EV6 a car for enthusiasts. But designed as an allpurpose crossover, the Kia EV6 has more to it than meets the eye, especially in terms of the advanced technologies used in the car.
