BendixKing turned a lot of heads at Sun ’n Fun with the introduction of the xVue Touch primary flight display for Experimental aircraft — but not for the reason you might expect.
The question asked by many show goers was when a version for certified airplanes will be offered. The answer? Very soon. Billed as a low-cost alternative to traditional six-pack instruments, the unit features a vibrant “near-4K-resolution” display and is packed with technology borrowed from the certified market. BendixKing says the new product is a “powerful and intuitive touch-screen flight display built with superior craftsmanship, at a very affordable price.”
