The XJ50 is a celebration of the past, and yet... it has plenty of future to go.
The Jaguar XJ is, for all intents and purposes, one serene mix of all that’s right and well with the world. Back when I’d had a go in it when it first came here, I flipped. It was so unlike what I was used to from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the BMW 7 Series (and, to a certain extent, the Audi A8), and I loved it dearly for that. It was huge, just like the others, but it just seemed cut from a whole different breed of cloths, if you get my poorly-framed reference. It just felt incredibly special.
