What is it?
Panasonic’s bringing in some light with its latest Lumix S5 mirrorless camera.
Why is it cool?
Right off the bat, it features real-time face- eye- and object-detection, and can shoot continuously in 4K. It’s awfully light, weighing just 630 g and is quite compact, too. It features a 24.2 MP full-frame CMOS sensor, a 2200 mAh battery and can capture up to 1500 shots in Power Save LVF mode. Also, this has a 3-inch free angle LCD touchscreen with an electronic viewfinder. You even get WiFi and Bluetooth compatibility with it, and handy double SD card slots, too. That’s some spell Panasonic’s cast on its Lumix camera series.
Is it expensive?
Well, if you think the Sony Alpha 7M III is expensive, then the Panasonic Lumix S5 is, too. For just the body, it will cost you ₹1.64 lakh.
