Once looked upon as affordable and less-fun substitutes to motorcycles, scooters have evolved to become household commodities and preferred options for daily commuting. Today, scooters are largely classified into three categories — commuter, sports and premium. Having aced the first two with the Jupiter and the NTorq 125, TVS has set its eyes on the premium segment with the all-new Jupiter 125.
One might expect the Jupiter 125 to share a resemblance with the standard Jupiter, but that isn’t the case. It follows a fresh design that looks and feels modern from every angle, and yet is conservative enough to keep in sync with buyers’ tastes — to achieve both is quite a commendable thing. There’s just enough chrome to keep things shiny, while the body-coloured panels around the semi-digital speedometer and the inner apron contribute to a strong sense of premium appeal.
