Endless Sumer – may just be a somewhat risky name for a show that’s at the mercy of the UK’s weather; so much could possibly go wrong to make the show name the butt of people’s jokes.
Happily, in 2019, they were lucky again. So, it was dry and sunny, albeit with a few spots of rain. One of the great things about this location is that it’s totally surrounded by trees which block out the wind. Wind which had been in gale force form across much of the country during the surrounding days.
The layout for the show was pretty much what I’ve come to expect over the years - and I’ve been to every show since it started; event tent and stage up one end of the field, show & shine and clubs down the middle and all surrounded by traders, of which there were more than I can remember from past years. A large number of traders were working from converted VWs, which is always good to see. South Coast Transporters had taken over the far end of the field for their Wild West-themed stand. They picked up two show & shine awards for Best T4 and Best T5/6.
