Sometimes life presents little problems and when you solve them you realise that you weren’t the only one searching for an answer, and we’re not talking about the number 42
As people may be aware in the five books that make up the inaccurately described Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trilogy, a computer named Deep Thought was commissioned to find the answer to life the universe and everything. After seven and a half million years of computing, checking and re-checking, the answer it came up with was 42... Fortunately for Jonny Ashworth his epiphany came a whole lot sooner than seven and a half million years. He’d bought a T5 in the summer of 2013, just after he and his wife Jane had their son Finn. Jonny’s original idea was to just chuck an air mattress in the back and go surfing, but as he is a carpenter and joiner by trade, he went further, and it made sense for him to build any furniture that the van needed. After completing that first conversion he’d been bitten by the bug and felt he wanted to do things a little differently and so it was sold.
