Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo

CAN YOU HAVE too much of a good thing? Porsche doesn’t seem to think so – it’s now added a third body style to the Taycan electric performance car range.

The Taycan Sport Turismo combines the practicality of the estate-like Cross Turismo with the more road-focused four-door coupé version. And it could be the best of both worlds.

The Sport Turismo gives you the added boot space and rear-seat headroom of the Cross Turismo, but not it's 20mm higher ride height or rugged exterior cladding. But there’s more. We tested the Taycan Sport Turismo in GTS form, a trim level making its debut with this bodystyle, and positioned between the 4S and Turbo versions.

GTS versions of the other Porsche models typically offered a well-judged balance between performance and everyday usability, so this first fully electric GTS has a reputation to uphold. No pressure then…

The Taycan GTS gets subtle styling tweaks, including tinted LED headlights, a reworked front bumper, gloss-black detailing, and 20in black alloy wheels (you can upgrade to the 21s on our test car, pictured).
