Starting out young, Shamik Caculo’s fresh business perspective keeps the Caculo Group soaring.
THE CACULO GROUP is a name synonymous with Goa’s business, having started way back in 1910. It isn’t easy to keep a business afloat, much less a group of companies. The Caculo’s secret to success is simple, really – a tight knit family; each contributing with their own set of skills. Currently managed by Manoj Caculo, assisted by Suraj Caculo, the brothers have gone above and beyond when it comes to introducing Goa to new concepts.
The latest official addition to the family business is Shamik Caculo. Born and brought up in a business oriented family, he had already decided that this was something he wanted in on, as well. “As a child, I remember going to my father’s office, sitting in his chair and imagining how it would be for me, a few years down the line. Watching him deal with clients and colleagues, only added to this ambition.”
