Financial influencers Jay Kapoor, Sharan Hedge, Anushka Rathod, Shreyaa Kapoor, and Ankur Warikoo give their ‘two cents’ to make many many more with your money! For the many Indians, all the financial education they’ve had is to pinch pennies and just save it all! An average Indian would agree - investing and growing your resources to gain a passive source of income is something unheard of for lakhs in our country. Fighting this sorry state of affairs, many influencers are rising in the digital space to educate people about money and even inspire them to invest intelligently. In the era of influencers, every imaginable brand, product, and idea is being presented to people through their content. Luckily for us, there are some who are using their content and platforms to educate millennials about their finances and healthy investing practices.

THE INSTAGRAM GENERATION

Talking about the generation of social media, Jay Kapoor says, “I’m basically trying to spark curiosity in the “Instagram Generation”, which is sadly dead among a lot of people.” Jay’s journey with content on the Internet has been an interesting one. “Back in 2015, I started with sharing voiceovers of screen recordings with tech hacks and tricks. Those picked up and I became India’s youngest tech-YouTuber to hit 100K. I started sharing whatever I found fascinating and people found that interesting. Today, I talk about finance, tech, interesting facts, basically anything that’s informative and interesting. ”, he shared.
