PUSHED into a grueling schedule of public appearances, Monaco's frail Princess Charlene is close to another collapse, insiders fear!

While the reluctant royal puts on a brave face for crowds and the cameras, Charlene's in tears behind closed doors at the palace, according to sources who fear the 44-year old blonde is on the verge of a breakdown less than two months after her skirt-chasing hubby, Prince Albert, 64, made her resume joint public appearances.

"Charlene's still being paraded like a show pony and the regimen she's been given is punishing, to say the least," spills an insider.

"Every waking hour is mapped out for her and she's often on her feet for hours at a time.
