MÖTLEY Crüe star Nikki Sixx nearly died from a heroin overdose when he was 29, but his drug-taking began long before that — when he was kindergarten age.

That’s the shocking confession of the 62-year-old rocker, whose real name is Frank Feranna, in his just released book, The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx, that leads up to just before he and drummer Tommy Lee formed the legendary band in 1981.
