Her debut album Imali shot to the top of streaming charts around the country and her collaborations with Sun-El Musician have made her into a household name. Here we go one-on-one with the star as she opens up about her new music and why reality shows are still important.
Why do you think reality shows like The Voice are still so important in the global entertainment landscape?
They are important in the sense that you get to see the reality of the entertainment industry and what’s required to stay relevant. Just understanding that it’s not only talent that gets you through is a massive lesson in itself.
You commanded attention with your appearance on Sun-El Musician’s Into Ingawe. Why do you think so many people identified with the song?
