A FANBOY muses on his trip to Baker Street.
IT’S not everyday that a fanboy’s dream comes true in the form of a set visit to one of the greatest TV shows of modern times. So when this one did – an exclusive invite for people magazine to the set of Season Four of Sherlock, courtesy of the BBC – you can imagine he didn’t need to be asked twice.
Of course, as strange as it may seem to those like me who have been gripped by three seasons, nine episodes, 13 and a half glorious hours of caustic wit and intrigue and, of course, let’s not forget a wonderful Victorian special, not everyone is aware of this TV gem, the brainchild of Steven Moffat (of Dr Who fame) and Mark Gatiss, which played a major part in the rise to A-list status of a certain Benedict Cumberbatch. So before I begin my account, I supposed provide a bit of background to what it is that those who have not yet been Sherlocked are missing.
