Will Kangana's Obsessive Relationships Affect Her Career?
SOCIETY|June 2016

The recent Kangana Ranaut-Hrithik Roshan war has caused enough furore in the industry. The spat between the actors has reached public domain, thanks to them taking the legal route. Kangana’s recent television interview provided further grist to the rumor mills, while feminists waxed eloquent about the actor for her independent stance. With the entire film industry divided over the issue, Society explores whether Kangana will get out of this controversy without much damage to her career

Will Kangana's Obsessive Relationships Affect Her Career?

“It is not easy to be in love with someone like me; it can be nerve-racking for them. But I’m not looking for an ordinary man. I like men who love to play with fire. I like men who love to tame roaring lionesses. Men have told me that I can scare the shit out of them, no weak man would even flutter around me”—thus spoke Kangana Ranaut not long ago. Has she been playing with fire, considering the precarious situation she finds herself in now?

The law of attraction simply states that you attract into your life whatever you think about. But, the law of attraction gives rise to some tough questions that don’t seem to have good answers, simply because you can never be sure whether it’s really just plain attraction or fatal attraction.

Kangana Ranaut has emerged as a revolutionary gender bender in the rather misogynistic Hindi film industry. This girl with wild curls, who was sniggered at for her rustic accent and her small town background, has silenced every one today with not only her acting prowess, but also her profoundly feminist opinions. Her rise from an actor portraying dark roles to becoming the reigning queen of Bollywood and its highest paid actress has been phenomenal. Every pore of her body oozes rebellion and defiance. Whether it is her fashion sense, her unique and bold roles, or her devil-may-care attitude, she epitomizes feminine achievement with great splendor. With all the above, and added to them her perpetual love life controversies, Kangana has definitely proven to be the wild child of Bollywood.

The streak of rebellion was evident even when at the tender age of 17, she went against her father and gave up her parents’ dream of her becoming a doctor in order to chase her very own big dream of becoming a superstar.
