DEAR READERS, have you had your milk today? I ask for a reason. My name is Kamadhenu and I am the mother of all cows. Humans think that I am a holy mother too. That may or may not be, but I have a connection with all you mothers. Motherhood is a special experience. Think about the language surrounding what we do. It is everywhere. Mother promise. Mother lode. Mother tongue. Mother Earth. Everything is linked to motherhood. Fathers aren’t celebrated as much in our language. And perhaps they shouldn’t be because the onus of raising a child rests more on mothers than fathers. I know that I am being sexist here, but it is true.
