Columbian illustrator Catalina Estrada reveals her bright and practical home work space in Barcelona.
About two years ago, we made the decision to move back to the city from the countryside.
We were living in the mountains in Girona, north Catalonia, Spain, but when our first kid was born we found it not so romantic/practical to be away from friends and family, so we decided to make the journey back to Barcelona. Since he was born I have been mostly working from home.
In the heart of Barcelona, we live next to the beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella and I absolutely love this area of the city. It's also close to the beach – only about an eight-minute bike ride.
