One of the best new features of watchOS 6 is that you can listen to audiobooks from your audio library in the Books app.
You don’t need to be within the range of your iPhone either, making it ideal for taking on a long walk or going for a run. That’s because audiobooks are downloaded to your Watch, and not streamed from your iPhone.
The Watch app is pretty intelligent about how it chooses which books are downloaded, given the limited storage space. By default, the next five hours of the book you’re currently listening to are downloaded. If there’s still space, the audiobook at the top of your Want to Read list is added, then the next, and so on. Audiobooks are synced when your Watch is connected to power, so more of each book can be downloaded each time you charge it.
