The market for affordable wireless earbuds is exploding right now. With so many options in hands, it is almost confusing to choose the right one for you! and the segment seems to be growing at a faster pace than expected. although there are many brands to choose from, Skullcandy has always been one compelling brand in the affordable TWS segment. and the brand’s recent offering, the Jib True wireless earbuds is something worth considering.
The Skullcandy Jib comes at the price of Rs 2,999, and packed with features, they aren’t your best buy but give you a decent sound experience. Here is our take on these truly wireless earbuds.
Design and Build
The Jib True earbuds aren’t flashy at all, it looks decent and in matt finish. The earbuds also don’t look huge or bulky, the charging case is also very compact and easy to carry. In short the Jib true is not at all a flashy affair, in terms of design there isn’t enough to flash out, it looks simple and compact!
The Jib true earbuds are well-built and are made of high-quality plastic. even the case is made of hard plastic. It’s portable, and you can keep the case in your jeans’ pocket or bag.
The earbuds come with a set of ear tips, so you get to choose one for yourself, luckily these fit perfectly fine in the ears.
Sound
Now let’s talk about how do these sound!
The Skullcandy Jib true wireless earbuds are heavy on the low tones, the bass, and there isn’t a full roundness to the levels here when you’re listening to music. They’re kind of flat, but they’re also actually fine. actually, with this price tag, the earbuds are sound just fine.
