We’ve had guests staying with us: an architect from Auvergne and his 10-year-old daughter. Over dinner, discussing memorable outings, our friend mentioned Christian Moullec. The name meant nothing to me, which surprised our guest as he knows the environment is of particular interest to me. Christian Moullec is an ornithologist specialising in migratory birds. Since 1995, he has given much of his energy to introducing geese and cranes to the general public, but in a way that differs from any other.
Voler avec les Oiseaux offers the opportunity to rise above it all and take to the skies. In Saint-Flour in Cantal, you can book a flight and ascend in a one-man microlight, with Moullec or one of his team accompanying you as guide, along with a skein of geese to your left and right.
