A Marbellous Experience

CHARLOTTE SKIDMORE seeks out peace and tranquillity at the marbellous Marbella Corfu hotel.

A Marbellous Experience

THE BUZZ word around this hotel is ‘marbellous’ and trust me when I tell you, you’ll be making some marvellous ‘marbellous’ memories if you pay it a visit.

You can’t fail to be impressed by the truly spectacular position that the Marbella Corfu occupies, on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the azure blue Mediterranean. It stands tall above its own private beach and I guarantee that if you visit, you will fall in love with the view, and what follows, during your holiday.

OUR ROOM

Our room had a superior sea view and a very obvious recent refit to bring it up to modern standards, with a flat screen television, modern décor and an open plan feel. On a practical level, and a very important one, we rarely heard any of our neighbours moving around.

Rooms are set around the resort, with some enjoying their own private pools and others hot tubs on the balcony, but it seemed as though all had been overhauled to cater for the modern minded visitor.

FOOD

Now here is where I was really impressed. We upgraded to the ultra all inclusive, which not only gave us access to branded drinks, all cocktails and some decent bottles of wine, but to three à la carte restaurants and a beach café.
