Have you ever experienced your lover cutting off all ties with you abruptly? Has he disappeared without a trace, leaving you wondering what went wrong? It’s a cruel move and it has a name— ghosting. This term has caught on like wildfire and is universally accepted by younger generations. There is a litany of reasons why people ghost their partners. From avoiding conflict that comes with breakups, to maybe being a person that lacks empathy, men and women alike have formed the habit of upping and leaving without so much as a word. The repercussions are painful.
