As a 12-year-old, Manu Chandra could be found engaged in kitchen experiments at his foodie-filled home. A couple of decades later, the dynamic young chef and entrepreneur seems unstoppable, constantly reinventing his strong game and helming successful restaurants across the country. From launching the first Monkey Bar (India’s first gastropub) in Bangalore in 2012, to the latest outpost of Fatty Bao in the suburbs of Mumbai, Chandra and his business partner Chetan Rampal, have taken their count to an impressive 13 restaurants in five years.
