It's no secret that the global pandemic has changed our outlook on life. We've realised the importance of taking it slow, learned how to bake banana bread like a pro and, of course, to work from home. Now, while many companies have asked their employees to come back to the workplace, a lot have switched to hybrid mode, which includes both an online and offline work culture. And, while some of us like nothing more than curling up on the couch in our pajamas with our laptops, others miss the structure that came with working in the office.
If you happen to belong to the latter camp, and are finding that working from home is distracting, here are a few things that might help you establish a healthy routine.
WORK WITH YOUR BODY
One of the advantages of working from home is the flexibility it offers. You don't necessarily need to stick to your work station all the time. Attending a short meeting? Work from the kitchen counter. Writing a long article? Try sitting straight up against a wall or lean on a sturdy cushion. Experiment with different body postures until you find the ones that work best for you.
