ARE THEIR STARS FADING?

Fewer headlines, fewer likes and failing businesses – seems the Beckham brand is on the wane

ARE THEIR STARS FADING?

THEY might have gone the way of many couples once their moment on the music and soccer stages had come and gone.

Sure, Posh was pretty. Yes, Becks was sexy. But were they really that much hotter than many of the other twosomes basking in the they’re-so-hot-right-now spotlight?

Perhaps not. But Victoria and David Beckham had something many other couples didn’t: a burning desire to stay relevant, make it big in the world and rake in the bucks. In other words, the will to have the world at their feet.

And for a quarter of a century, they pretty much did. Together they became Brand Beckham and forged ahead fearlessly, venturing into everything from high-class fashion to top-drawer whisky, mingling with royalty, making friends in all the right places and enjoying a jet-set transatlantic lifestyle second to none.

Brand Beckham turned them into billionaires and showbiz icons – and their brood of four beautiful kids completed the pretty picture.

But could the Beckhams’ star be on the wane? Victoria (47) especially seems to be losing her Midas touch, leading people to wonder: has Posh lost her spice?

Last month she decided against staging a catwalk show for London Fashion Week, opting instead for a digital presentation of her Spring/Summer 2022 collection on her Instagram site.

But just 72 826 of her 29 million followers tuned in. “Her social media clout isn’t what it used to be,” an insider says. “Everything she did on her platforms used to get millions of views and likes but it’s not always the case now.”
