IF YOU'RE going to make a statement as bold as saying you're only one of two actresses in Tinseltown never to have had plastic surgery, best you check your facts.
Because the world being what it is, you're bound to be called out if you're not being 100% honest - and if there are others who haven't gone under the knife.
Veteran actress Jane Seymour discovered just how swift the reaction can be after she recently declared she hadn't followed the path of so many other Hollywood stars who've had nips and tucks over the years.
“I am unusual in Hollywood in not having work done, the former Bond Girl said in a recent interview. “I only know one other actress who hasn't had it though she might have now?"
She didn't want to have Botox or fillers put in her face because it would've hindered her work, Jane (71) continued. "I felt as an actress, I needed to have all the moving parts moving.”
But critics were quick to point out that she wasn't telling the truth. In 2007 the actress, who's best remembered for her role in Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman, admitted shed had “minor” work done around her eyes about a decade earlier.
It was at the request of photographers, she said at the time.
“Genetically I had baggy eyes and photographers said they didn't want to spend money endlessly having to eradicate the bags”
She also confessed to trying Botox but didn't like it so never did it again.
In 2018, Jane came clean about a breast lift she'd had at 40. “To set the record straight, when I was 40 and I'd gone through a horrible divorce, I had breast implants.
“I did it because I breastfed my babies and there was nothing left. I was working as an actress and though I was against it, it seemed the right thing to do?
