JAY HERNANDEZ is back as Thomas Magnum, the intrepid war-veteran turned-private-eye in the third season of Magnum P.I., the reboot of the beloved Hawaiian-set 1980s series which starred Tom Selleck.
This season, Magnum finds himself in a weird place with Higgins (Perdita Weeks), who becomes involved with trauma surgeon Ethan Shah (Jay Ali) – her first serious relationship since the death of her fiancé.
Unaccustomed to having to compete for Higgins’ attention, the detective finds himself questioning his feelings towards her, in between solving island mysteries.
This new relationship, “throws everything for a loop”, says Jay, who adds that the “situation opens up some doors that are pretty interesting to play with”.
