The journey begins again — with Cartier’s newest high jewellery collection, Le Voyage Recommence. It is a journey into the heart of the French jewellery house, to rediscover its identity, its passions and its artistry. It is a journey driven by its long-running technical prowess forged by curiosity, to see how the maison’s fundamentals are reinvented — approached with an unexpected angle, through the light of a new prism.
“This collection is a great opportunity to delve into the essential themes of the Cartier style,” says Jacqueline Karachi, director of high jewellery creation at Cartier. “To explore them in greater depth, take a fresh look at them, nurtured by the spirit of the time. Approaching them with a contemporary eye to go further, [this is] a journey back to the heart of Cartier creation, an uninterrupted story being told over time.”
In this 90-piece collection highlighted in five universes, each item is designed with principles of geometry, juxtaposition and contrast, much like a work of architecture. The range expands the possibilities of graphic lines, bold patterns and symmetry, while showcasing gemstones of the finest quality and brightest hue.
