Model Jordyn Woods didn’t always love the way she looked— but after discovering the key to mega confidence, she realized self-esteem comes in all sizes.
Picture this: You’re at the mall, trying on clothes with your friends. As your girls emerge from the dressing rooms in too-cute out- fits, you’re hanging behind the curtain, struggling to zip up a dress over your hips. Every item you pulled from the rack is either too small or not cut to flatter your curves. You so want to fit in, but you feel totally out of place.
This is what Jordyn Woods went through nearly every time she went shopping as a young teen. “It was just so discouraging,” confesses Jordyn, now 19. “I’d always know I wasn’t going to be able to find anything that fit, so I’d buy clothes that were too tight just so I could have that dress or that shirt or whatever in my closet, too.”
Jordyn’s dilemma didn’t just end at the mall. In middle school, as she fixated on things she thought she lacked—a skinny body, a boyfriend—her self-esteem continued to plummet. Hoping to dig herself out of that dark hole, Jordyn began journaling.
