She is as fresh as the morning dew, as warm as a winter’s sun. Her body language, her bambi eyes, citrus fruity lips, pert nose and her coy demeanor falls in line with that of her late iconic mother. In a way, she is the mirror image of her mother, the late Sridevi. She is also someone who doesn’t have airs about being the star daughter of the first female superstar this country has seen and of producer Boney Kapoor, but she is as simple as the girl next door but who has her head firmly on her shoulders.

Ladies and gentlemen presenting the very beautiful and talented Jhanvi Kapoor who is all set to rule Bollywood. Yes, we can say that with a certain ease because this 21-year-old youngster has all that it takes to be a superstar in our Hindi film industry.

Jhanvi recently visited Chandigarh on a late summers evening to promote her debuet film Dhadak, a love saga picturised in and around the picturesque Udaipur along with her vivacious co-star, Ishaan Khatter. The film is the remake of Marathi film-Sairat and is a Karan Johar production.

Talking about her debuet film, Jhanvi says, “the film narrates the story of Madhukar and Parthavi who live in two different worlds and it is a well know fact that when two worlds collide, they become one. It is a simple story of first love, of how the two characters fall in love and how as their romance progresses their problems also do. A fight between choosing ones heart over the society.” Elaborating on her role in the film, Jhanvi says,”Parthavi belongs to a political family who comes from a royal lineage. She is bossy, strong and resilient and has some airs about her.”
