ALFA ROMEO STELVIO QUADRIFOGLIO $77,000
What happens when you pluck the 505-horsepower, twin-turbocharged V-6 from the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio— you know, the onetime fastest sedan around the Nürburgring— and stuff it into the engine bay of a compact SUV? The Stelvio Quadrifoglio happens, that’s what. It’s not just the Ferrari-engineered powerplant that makes it special (essentially the same engine found in the 488 GTB, with two cylinders lopped off), it’s the whole package. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio will catapult from a standstill to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds, en route to a ludicrous 177 mph top speed. That’s 0.7 seconds quicker and 13 mph faster than a Porsche Macan Turbo. Luckily for you, the ceramic Brembo brakes will also scrub speed just as quickly as the V-6 piles it on. Alfisti everywhere, rejoice.
