Hands down, it’s one of the best aerospace networking events, and with Dubai being one of the most prominent places in the aerospace community, the event offers a wonderful chance to connect and network with the best minds in the industry. Only last year, the show managed to garner 1,200 exhibitors from 63 countries. The event itself drew more than 7 lakh visitors from across the world. This year, the number of exhibitors stands at 1000 with a slew of cutting edge products and solutions for the aerospace industry. The attendee footfall is estimated to be more than 80 thousand, which only adds to the reputation of the show.
What to expect?
The Dubai Airshow 2019 is a five-day bi-annual event to be held from 17th to 21st of November at Dubai World Central. Similar to each year, it will showcase the finest offerings in terms of both commercial and defense aircraft. From Rafael fighter jets performing acrobatics in the air to an insight into the latest innovation in defense, it’s a gala event for any industry professionals and aerospace enthusiasts alike!
Michele van Akelijen who happens to be the managing director of show organizers, Tarsus F&E LLC Middle East, told the media in a recent video release; how the Dubai Airshow has only managed to grow in leaps and bounds each year. The 2019 edition marks the 30th year of the event, and there’s quite a bit of proud history to reflect upon. Furthermore, the Airshow will witness some of the newest exhibitors and the return of a few prominent feature areas. She also said that with the latest innovation and upcoming business opportunities in the aviation sphere, the industry is all set to take a solemn turn in the near future with the Middle East right in the centre of it.
