Hibiscus plant is colloquially called the Gudhal/Japa Pushpa. It is easily found in India. According to Ayurveda, leaves as well as the petals of hibiscus plant pack in several ancient medicinal properties that can be made use of.

Since ages, this plant has been used for curing diseases and bettering health conditions. The most popular use of this flower is in balancing aggravated pitta dosha. It also has properties that resolve problems of damaged hair and skin, urinary disorders, gynaecological problems, management of diabetes and conditions of high cholesterol.
