Markers Of Good Health

What’s the first visual that strikes your brain when you hear the word ‘healthy’? Usually, our brain draws the picture of a non-obese, muscular character. This notion of co-relating aesthetics to health has been distorting reality for quite some time.

The relationship between toned looks and the state of health of an individual is nonlinear in nature. You may have known and seen many fit, lean individuals who are habitual smokers. By no means will these fit smokers qualify as ‘being healthy’.

This is where we should start looking at the biomarkers or the components in our blood (or any other body fluid) to get the true reflection of our state of health. These readings will never lie. If you are sick or stressed, it will surely reflect in your blood.
