Rooted in basic common sense, most of the principles of the Vastu Purusha Mandala can be reasoned out to pure logic. However, the rigidness of these criteria with it’s laid out nine-grid configuration and dictation of spatial relations can more likely than not, take the ‘art’ out of architecture. But having said so, we stand witness to in numerous projects that have been carefully curated by architects young and old alike, as a judicious juxtapose of design and Vastu. This project is one such residence conceived by Collage Architecture Studio that leaves us in awe, mesmerized by their ability to strike the right balance. Their aim of braking free of the solemnly stereotyped impressions of a traditional Vastu defined home is evidently essayed, right to the tiniest detail.
