In a remote location, getting supplies to your site is a challenge, so we used materials already on-site to make our path. We cut “steppingstones” from some big oak trees that we felled during site prep, and then we used a wood chipper to make mulch. We didn’t need to haul in heavy landscape materials, and we recycled organic material back to the forest floor, keeping the natural cycle intact.
