Human observer. Accra addict. Peanut butter defender
I was born and raised in Orlando East, Soweto.
I founded and own Iam Hussain, a brand and lifestyle consulting firm, and Fixin Diaries, a social-cycling company. I’m also a lifestyle manager for Martell, GH Mumm and Perrier-Jouët.
I love what I do because I get to meet new people with different energies, which I like because I’ve always been a people watcher. Human beings and their behaviours fascinate me.
I spent 12 years of my life in the banking and finance sector, then finally branched out into brands and brand marketing.
My earliest summer memory is gardening at home in Soweto with my grandmom and brothers. She loved flowers.
One piece at home that I love is the 1950s Kelvinator coal stove. It has an impeccable design and still looks divine.
My favourite South African musician is Urban Village.
I’m currently listening to all of Kaiydo’s music. It’s summer and he’s hella jiggy.
