Journaling has many health and wellness benefits, from stress management to mindfulness. Take some time now to incorporate writing into your day-to-day schedule to take full advantage of these benefits in 2020.

• Make it part of your routine. Find 30 minutes in your everyday routine to make time for writing, whether you decide to wake up 30 minutes earlier or you take some personal time later in the evening. In his TED Talk, Matt Cutts, an engineer for Google, discussed a 30-day challenge in which participants come up with a goal, such as writing in a journal each morning and try it for 30 days. After 30 days, it very well could become a habit.
