We are not what we eat but we are what we digest, so everyone should know what food is good for their body, for example, apples might suit one person but might not suit the other person. Basically, everyone’s digestion system is different.

Our human body is degenerating every day and mostly after 50, however if we follow the below-mentioned points we can make this degenerating process slow and age gracefully.

1) Diet and conscious eating –Conscious eating favors optimal digestion that corrects imbalances and, in doing so, prevents diseases, ends suffering and delays the aging process.

The sun represents the fire element and in the physical body, this is reflected as the process of transformation of the food by the heat of the digestive juices. Thus, when the sun is at its peak, digestion is stronger and optimal. Ayurveda recommends eating the largest meal during the midday hours and smaller meals in the morning and evening to prevent the metabolism from going away.

Eat food that is fresh, seasonal, and local as you can manage it. Maintain your internal balance by eating in tune with the seasons and your environment-- and by eating foods of the highest possible quality.
