Kia Set For India Debut

The Korean car manufacturer will launch its India-specific compact SUV named Kia Seltos next month.

Korean auto major Kia Motors has been gearing up for quite a while to make its India entry. At the Delhi Auto Expo in January last year it revealed the contours of its first car under the umbrella of what was called SP Concept, which the company said was being specifically developed for the Indian market. A few weeks ago it revealed, the looks of the new vehicle to the Indian and international press at a launch event in Delhi. While journalists were allowed to photograph the car from the outside, they were not allowed to see the interiors or sit inside the car, and some details about the engine and other components were also not completely revealed.
