You are currently serving as Santa Monica Travel & Tourism’s Director of Business Development, leading the sales team on strategic, tourism-related initiatives to increase visitation from key feeder markets as well as group sales. Kindly tell us briefly about your role.
Santa Monica is a highly desired international destination. About 60-70 percent of our overnight stays here are international-based. We have a high potential for international visitation coming into Santa Monica. We are Los Angeles’ beach city. My role is to promote Santa Monica domestically in the United States and also internationally, which includes Canada and other markets around the world, India being our newest market.
