Ruby the Pig NEWFOUNDLAND, NJEveryone at the country club-staff and guests-loved Ruby, so I often brought her to work with me. She&#39;d wander around the property grazing on the lawn, munching on the handouts people liked to feed her, and making surprise appearances at events. She seemed to like the attention and started wandering into photo shoots-yes, photobombing! Soon, guests began asking that she join their photos. She was even featured in a bridal magazine.Ruby can sit, shake hands, kiss, nod, spin and even open and close doors on command. But I never trained her to pose for photos that came naturally.The veterinarian recently suggested that Ruby go on a diet, so she&#39;s on hiatus from the country club (where she&#39;s fed too many goodies!) for now. A staycation in her big backyard and darling cottage is treating her kindly, and hopefully soon a newly svelte Ruby will be back.
